If you like what you are reading on this website, I would love to hear from you. My main area of expertise is working with adults who are facing some life transition. When life brings into focus our wounded patterns, it is usually a sign that we are ready for some work on ourselves. Be it self-esteem issues, inability to express our true self, or relenting patterns that need to be addressed before one can make a leap to the next life stage step, it is something we can hold and look at with curiosity.
Some people realize their age-old wounds when they are ready to make a leap – whether in their career or personal or creative life, like decisions in relationships, getting married, settling down in any form, working out career choices, or are considering whether or not they want to have children. Whether you identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or heterosexual, I would like to accompany you on this journey of self discovery.
This type of work is never too late. I also enjoy working with people in midlife or beyond on issues of fine tuning their true self. If you want to live fully and not feel ashamed or judged for wanting to be alive, it might be a time for a deep dive with depth psychotherapy. It is never too late to be inspired and express yourself fully.

How we are working together ….Â
In individual therapy I will work with you on your anxieties and worries that manifest in many areas of life, often stemming from existential questions. Mental, emotional, and physical layers all influence each other and long lasting relief will come if we explore the underlying cause to the turmoil on all levels. We often find age old wounds and shameful feelings at the bottom of these. Working with a depth oriented and holistic approach is satisfying for the individual and provides interpersonal relief. My approach to therapy is relational, where we apply our curiosity together to bring about effective and meaningful shifts. We look for ways to open up more space for meaning and creativity in your life. I take pride in creating a safe space so these explorations could emerge. I welcome people of diverse identities, genders, and sexual orientations in my practice.
The following quote from existential psychotherapist Irvin Yalom sums up well my process focus in my therapy sessions with my clients:
“Proper use of the here-and-now during therapy creates a safe laboratory, a comfortable arena in which patients can take risks, reveal their darkest and brightest selves, hear and accept feedback, and – most important of all – experiment with personal change. The more you focus on the here-and-now (and I make sure to do so in every single session), the tighter you and your patient are laced together in an intimate and trusting relationship.”     Irvin Yalom, MD
